We offer two classes this summer.
FUNDAMENTALS OF ECONOMICS
In ten two hour meetings (10 successive Thursday evenings), students explore not only the fundamental business and social relationships involved in producing the services and goods that people exchange, but also investigate the assumptions and hierarchical patterns which sabotage a just society. This class roundly investigates the distinction between gifts of nature and human-made goods and services.
This is a fee-free course.
Next class begins Thursday, May 2, 2013.
INTRODUCTION TO ECONOMIC CONCEPTS
In four two hour meetings (four successive Wednesday evenings), students are introduced to the basic elements of every economy. Emphasis is placed upon distinguishing between gifts of nature and productions of human beings.
This is a fee-free course.
Next class begins Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
